Robert J. Buhl and Industrial Film Group, Inc.

Bob Buhl started his career with Industrial Film Group as a Photographer, Videographer, Animation Equipment Designer, and Cinematographer. Bob evolved into an award winning Writer, Director, and Producer and became the President of Industrial Film Group in 1982.

Industrial Film Group was incorporated in 1965.  Since Bob’s involvement with IFG, he has written and produced over 1,600 videos and films including: training, educational, promotional, fund raising, incentive, TV commercials, and theatrical shorts.  Bob was the catalyst behind the film “Rudy.”  Bob also produced the series of films on the Shroud of Turin for Professor Francis L. Filas S.J. and collaborated with him on the discovery of the Pontius Pilate Coins on the Turin Shroud. 

Robert A. Mackey and Industrial Film Group, Inc.

Robert Mackey has co-produced many projects with Industrial Film Group since 1995. Robert A. Mackey, president of SONGWERKS MULTIMEDIA and founding member of the rock band AVM, is currently composing music and has written many songs for several of our feature film and episodic projects.

Industrial Film Group invented and pioneered the audio book as a training tool for many of their clients. IFG has received numerous awards for its productions over the years from the US Film & TV Festival, the Questar Awards from MerComm, the International Film & TV Festival, and Industrial Film Group also received a Gold award at the New York Film Festival.

Some of Industrial Film Group clients include: Jewel Food Stores, Osco Drug, American Stores, Portion Pac Chemical Corp., Wm. B. Reily / Standard Coffee, PetCare Superstores, Levy Home Entertainment, G.D. Searle, Ulta3, Whitehall Jewelers, Maremont, Globe Union, Stewart Warner, Sears, Chicago’s Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, and American City Bureau. IFG also filmed a documentary for The Italian American Sports Hall of Fame with Joe DiMaggio.

The films IFG produced for fund raising capital campaigns for organizations such as The Boys and Girls Clubs have secured over five hundred million dollars for institutions such as this across America.
